Unidentified delegation sends an inflammatory note, frames Poland

From: Poland… Or Not

A case of Identity theft occurred in the World Health Organization (WHO). Here’s the deal… while the committee discussed how the United Nations could improve its Covid-19 response and prepare for future pandemics, China received a typical early committee note consisting of potential resolution ideas and a signature from Poland. There were just two problems: the handwriting and color of the note didn’t match that of the actual Polish delegation.

China wrote a generic response to the fake note, then sent it back to Poland. “We were going to talk to them about that [solution] and not make it so outlandish,” said the delegation of China. Had China not returned the note to the real Poland, the Polish delegation would never have known that they were being mimicked.

“We were very scared and confused,” said the Polish delegation when asked to describe the note. The delegation went on to speculate that the fake note may have been attempted sabotage… especially due to the inflammatory nature of the proposals.

“The note said a really horrible resolution,” said Poland… who further explained that the note suggested using access to food and water as a way to force vaccinations upon citizens…particularly in developing nations. When unmoderated caucus began again, Poland swiftly reported the note to the WHO chairs.

During the next moderated caucus, the chairs scolded the committee and discouraged the impersonation of other delegates. The chairs told the committee that identity theft of this kind is an offense they take very seriously.

There was some speculation in the committee as to who this mysterious note could be authored by… but that’s a secret I’ll never tell.
